About The Position

This position is for an Assistant Professor of or Instructor in Nursing, which can be either Non Tenure Track or Tenure Track. The role requires a current, active RN license and no disciplinary actions in Missouri or any other U.S. state or territory. A graduate degree from an accredited institution and BLS certification are also required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is necessary. Applicants seeking a tenure-track position must submit a research plan that includes a philosophy of research and demonstrates an ability to conduct research/scholarship that can lead to dissemination. Candidate evaluation will include a teaching/education presentation and campus interview(s).

Requirements

• A current, active RN license or privilege to practice
• No current disciplinary action in Missouri
• No past disciplinary action in Missouri or any other U.S. state or territory
• Graduate degree from an accredited institution
• BLS certified
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• For tenure-track applicants: a research plan that includes a philosophy of research and demonstrates an ability to conduct research/scholarship that can lead to dissemination

Nice To Haves

• Master of Science in Nursing degree
• Doctoral Degree (earned or in progress)
• Three (3) years of recent teaching experience
• Experience supervising students and/or developing/coordinating education programs
• Experience with learning management platforms
