About The Position

Eastern Mennonite University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Nursing. Requirements

  • PhD or DNP in Nursing or related field preferred, MSN accepted.
  • College-level teaching and/or post-doctoral experience preferred.
  • ABD candidates will be considered at the rank of instructor.
  • Advanced Nurse Practitioners may be considered at the rank of Assistant Professor of the Practice.
  • Applicants must have a strong commitment to serving and working within a community of diverse learners.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Eastern Mennonite University is not offering visa sponsorship for this role at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching load may include undergraduate courses and clinical supervision in the BSN and Accelerated Second Degree Program and graduate courses in the MSN and graduate certificate programs.
  • Department and university service is expected in the form of advising and mentoring a diverse student body of nurses and nurse leaders in training.
