About The Position

Drybar is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager who is also a skilled Cosmetologist. The role involves managing shop operations, supervising staff, ensuring excellent client experiences, and driving sales. Requirements

• A current and valid cosmetology license for the state in which you are applying.
• Shampoo, blow-dry, and amazing hair styling & finishing skills.
• Ability to do a blowout in under 45 minutes.
• Strong communication skills.
• A commitment and dedication to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shop staff including Bartenders, Stylists, and Shift Leads.
• Lead team members to enhance performance, client experience, product sales, cost control, staffing, team development, and membership sales.
• Ensure talent development within the shop to maximize performance, drive revenue, and achieve business goals.
• Work closely with Human Resources on employee relations, performance management, culture, development, values, safety, and training.
• Monitor shop inventory, check back bar and retail supplies, and place orders as needed.
• Work with the Area Manager to maximize the shop's financial potential by achieving sales metrics and labor budget goals.
• Train new staff on Booker and Drybar’s 10 core values.
• Ensure Stylists complete blowouts in under 45 minutes.
• Implement problem-solving strategies and maintain awareness.
• Report all shop inventory and check retail supplies.
• Ensure all company procedures, policies, and regulations are followed.
• Adhere to Drybar’s timekeeping policy and supervisor policy addendum.
• Report all time worked for self and others.
• Resolve team member relations and customer issues, considering shop morale and culture.
