About The Position

The Operational Lead supports the Nursing Services Manager/Director in the daily operations of the patient care unit. The role manages clinical personnel and operational issues to provide safe, quality patient care in a specific patient care area. It also supports the Nursing Services Manager/Director in mentoring and developing staff professionally.

Requirements

• Must obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within three years of employment; otherwise, the employee will not be eligible to continue in the role. Coursework must be completed outside work hours.
• A valid Indiana registered nurse license is required.
• Must maintain CPR certification.
• Must have three years of progressive clinical experience in a related nursing field.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience in a leadership capacity is preferred.
