About The Position

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to Price Chopper customers. Responsible for nighttime store operations in the absence of the Night Manager, including overseeing clerks, maintaining properly stocked and leveled shelves, and ensuring adequate product inventory. The role also supports ordering and receiving warehouse and direct-store-delivery (DSD) products, front-end and office operations, associate scheduling, training, performance evaluation, and adherence to company policies and procedures. The position oversees the entire Third Shift store operation two to three nights a week. It is responsible for shelf conditions, stock levels, merchandising, nightly and weekly resets, refrigeration and security procedures, sanitation and pricing procedures, and protecting company inventory and assets. The role includes unloading deliveries and monitoring productivity and task completion by the Third Shift grocery crew.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.

Responsibilities

Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service, including smiling, making eye contact, and thanking customers.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
Oversee the entire Third Shift store operation two to three nights a week in the absence of the Night Manager.
Maintain shelf conditions and proper stock levels, level and block products, and ensure out-of-stock signs are displayed.
Assist in scheduling Night Crew Associates.
Oversee Front End and Office operations, including check approvals and nightly resets.
Assist with ordering Grocery merchandise and supplies and meet transmission times.
Store excess product in the back room or designated area and maintain it according to corporate guidelines.
Maintain merchandising standards, including shelf allocation and sale items.
Assist with hiring, training, and developing new Night Crew Associates in Grocery operations.
Discipline or recommend discipline for Night Crew Associates according to company policy.
Follow refrigeration and security procedures during Third Shift and complete weekly and nightly resets.
Unload warehouse and DSD merchandise deliveries.
Evaluate Store Associates’ performance and progress.
Ensure Third Shift grocery crew productivity measures meet standards and assigned tasks are completed.
Implement and maintain corporate and state sanitation and pricing procedures.
Protect company inventory and assets and control shrink by following related policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties assigned by management and follow company policies and procedures.
