About The Position

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to Price Chopper customers. Responsible for nighttime store operations in the absence of the Night Manager, including overseeing clerks and ensuring shelves are stocked and leveled to support sales. Responsible for ordering and receiving Warehouse or DSD products and maintaining adequate inventory levels. The role oversees the entire Third Shift store operation two to three nights a week and supports Grocery operations, Front End and Office operations, staffing, merchandising, safety, sanitation, pricing, and inventory protection.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.

Responsibilities

Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service, including smiling, making eye contact, and thanking customers.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
Oversee the entire Third Shift store operation two to three nights a week in the absence of the Night Manager.
Oversee clerks and ensure shelves are properly stocked, leveled, and blocked, with out-of-stock signs displayed.
Assist in scheduling Night Crew Associates.
Manage Front End and Office operations, including check approvals and nightly resets.
Assist with ordering merchandise and supplies for the Grocery department and meet transmission times.
Store excess product in the back room or designated areas and maintain it according to corporate guidelines.
Maintain merchandising standards, including shelf allocation and sale items.
Assist with hiring, training, and developing new Night Crew Associates in Grocery operations.
Handle discipline or recommend discipline of Night Crew Associates according to company policy.
Manage refrigeration and security procedures during Third Shift, as well as weekly and nightly resets.
Unload Warehouse and DSD merchandise deliveries.
Evaluate Store Associates’ performance and progress.
Ensure Third Shift Grocery productivity measures and assigned tasks meet standards.
Implement and maintain corporate and state sanitation and pricing procedures.
Protect company inventory and assets and control shrink by following relevant policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to company policies and procedures.
