About The Position

U-Haul is hiring an Assistant Moving Center Manager to help lead the day-to-day operations of a center, frequently taking responsibility for operations in the General Manager’s absence. The role involves supporting the team, allocating time and resources, and ensuring customers receive an excellent first impression and high-quality service. The position also includes hands-on equipment-related duties, such as installing hitches and brake controllers, and ongoing training through U-Haul University. The job is located at 1501 Dallas Pkwy, Plano, Texas 75093. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
Leadership experience in any form.
Customer service experience.
Ability to work a variety of shifts.
Must be legally authorized to work without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Run the center’s daily operations in the General Manager’s absence.
Make moment-to-moment decisions about allocating time and resources to projects.
Manage and assign team members to help ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and high-quality care.
Perform miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches and brake controllers.
Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
