About The Position
The Assistant Manager is typically in training to become a store General Manager. This is a demanding, full-time position requiring physical and mental commitment. The Assistant Manager works in an hourly capacity and may work as many as 55 hours per week across lunch, evening, and late-night dayparts. Candidates must be available to work any hours of the day and any day of the week, including weekends. Training lasts between six months and two years and includes formal training modules and classes in preparation for a General Manager role. The position provides training in customer service, people management, product preparation and quality, and inventory control.
