About The Position

The Assistant Manager builds and develops a well-rounded team of Sales Associates, trains and coaches employees, and helps the store meet sales goals. The role involves greeting customers, developing lasting relationships, selling tile and related products, and learning the installation process so customers can be educated about products. The Assistant Manager also learns and uses knowledge of store and warehouse operations, provides customers with product delivery updates, maintains inventory accuracy and professional standards, and develops schedules for Associates and Warehouse Personnel. Other duties may be assigned. Expected first-year income is $60,000–$75,000 at target.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in retail management.
• Previous sales experience.
• Ability to build, develop, and motivate a sales team.
• Strong work ethic and drive to exceed expectations.
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, commission sales environment.
• Openness to learning and growing independently and from feedback.
• Positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Sense of design, including the ability to put together various styles, colors, and textures.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Weekend availability.
