About The Position

Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to help operate a value-priced urban apparel store. After successfully completing a two-week training period, the Assistant Manager assists the Store Manager with overall store operations and leads the store when the Store Manager is unavailable, ensuring goals are met. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• 2–4 years of retail experience as an Assistant Manager.
• 3–5 years of retail experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and employee supervision.
• Maintain inventory controls, facilitate inventory transactions, and comply with shrink-control standards.
• Monitor sales activities to ensure customers receive satisfactory service.
• Direct and supervise employees involved in sales, inventory-taking, cash-receipt reconciliation, or customer services.
• Ensure staff members follow Citi Trends, Inc. policies and procedures.
