About The Position

Chipotle’s Assistant Manager role is described as an Apprentice position supporting the day-to-day operations of a restaurant and developing toward a General Manager role. The position helps run a strong business, hire and train team members, and provide a guest-focused experience. The Assistant Manager learns operational responsibilities including scheduling, profit and loss management, sales forecasting, recruiting, and interviewing. The role works a standard 50-hour workweek, with applicable overtime paid, including evening and weekend shifts. The physical work environment is a fast-paced kitchen with customer interaction and varied temperatures. The role involves preparing and tasting food, standing and walking around the restaurant for up to 10 hours a day, lifting up to 50 pounds/25 kilograms, and communicating with the team and customers.

Ensure digital orders are accurate and delivered on time.
Learn and support day-to-day restaurant operations, including scheduling, profit and loss management, sales forecasting, recruiting, and interviewing.
Keep the dining room clean and the restaurant guest-ready.
Uphold food safety, operational, and compliance standards.
