About The Position

Golden Nozzle Car Wash is seeking a hands-on, motivated Assistant Manager to support daily operations at a high-volume car wash facility. The Assistant Manager works closely with the Site Manager to maximize site performance, develop team members, and provide an exceptional customer experience. The role may involve leading shifts and overseeing operations in the Site Manager’s absence. The position requires flexible availability based on operational needs, including the ability to work up to 50 hours per week and additional hours as needed. Team members must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed, and must work at least one weekend day. Physical duties include maintaining facility safety and cleanliness, lifting up to 50 pounds, working outdoors in temperatures from -10°F to 100°F, and standing, walking, and moving around vehicles for extended periods. The starting rate is $18.00. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to work up to 50 hours per week, with additional hours as business needs require.

Open availability based on Golden Nozzle’s operational needs.
Ability to lift, carry, and hold up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work outdoors in temperatures ranging from -10°F to 100°F.
Ability to stand, walk, and move around vehicles for extended periods.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Assist in supervising daily site operations, including staffing support, scheduling assistance, coaching, and performance feedback.
Help ensure the facility, equipment, and grounds are clean, safe, and fully operational.
Support workflow and vehicle-throughput improvements to minimize wait times and enhance the customer experience.
Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.
Assist with sales initiatives and membership growth strategies to drive revenue and customer retention.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering and restocking of chemicals, parts, and operational supplies.
Enforce company safety procedures and regulatory compliance standards.
Support review of operational reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to improve site performance.
Partner with the Site Manager to execute site-specific goals and business initiatives.
Help resolve employee and customer concerns to maintain a positive, productive environment.
Lead shifts and oversee operations in the Site Manager’s absence when needed.
Maintain the physical condition, safety, cleanliness, and overall appearance of store facilities.
