About The Position

Golden Nozzle Car Wash is seeking a hands-on, motivated Assistant Manager to support daily operations at a high-volume car wash facility. The Assistant Manager works closely with the Site Manager to maximize site performance, support team development, and deliver an excellent customer experience. The role may lead shifts and oversee operations in the Site Manager’s absence. The position involves supporting staffing and scheduling, coaching team members, maintaining facility and equipment readiness, improving workflow and vehicle throughput, responding to customers, supporting sales and membership growth, monitoring inventory, enforcing safety and regulatory standards, and reviewing operational metrics. The role requires flexibility to work up to 50 hours per week, with additional hours as business needs require, and availability for shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. At least one weekend day is required. The work includes outdoor conditions ranging from -10°F to 100°F, extended periods of standing, walking, and moving around vehicles, and lifting, carrying, and holding up to 50 pounds. Starting rate is $16.00. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to work up to 50 hours per week, with additional hours as business needs require.
Flexible availability to cover shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.

Nice To Haves

Supervisory or leadership experience; experience in car wash, automotive, retail, or service industries is a plus.
Basic knowledge of car wash equipment, maintenance practices, and safety standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic operational software systems.

Responsibilities

Assist in supervising daily site operations, including staffing support, scheduling assistance, coaching, and performance feedback.
Help ensure the facility, equipment, and grounds are clean, safe, and fully operational.
Support workflow and vehicle-throughput improvements to minimize wait times and enhance customer experience.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.
Assist with sales initiatives and membership-growth strategies to drive revenue and customer retention.
Monitor inventory and coordinate ordering and restocking of chemicals, parts, and operational supplies.
Enforce company safety procedures and regulatory compliance standards.
Support review of operational reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to improve site performance.
Partner with the Site Manager to execute site-specific goals and business initiatives.
Help resolve employee and customer concerns to maintain a positive, productive environment.
Lead shifts and oversee operations in the Site Manager’s absence when needed.
Support the physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and overall appearance of store facilities.
