About The Position

The Assistant Manager is part of the store leadership team and helps drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement. The role provides immediate feedback and coaching to the sales team to maximize performance, collaborates with store leaders on business strategies, and supports smooth store operations. The Assistant Manager owns an assigned division of responsibility, such as Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, or Service & Selling, and may step into different sales-floor roles as needed.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of retail management experience with a similar scope.
• Passion for supporting the brand, customers, and teams.
• Ability to stay up to date with current fashion trends and industry developments.
• Teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy when executing tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to champion new ideas while navigating uncertainty.
• Scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products and lift, carry, and move at least 40 pounds (18 kilos).

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director and Associate Store Manager in impacting business results and maximizing profitability.
• Own an assigned division of responsibility, such as Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, or Service & Selling.
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology while ensuring accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training, and associate development as needed.
• Partner with store leadership to foster a collaborative working environment.
• Keep the team on track to exceed goals and provide best-in-class customer service.
• Lead fit sessions to build associates’ product knowledge and strengthen customer connections.
• Develop innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into a variety of sales-floor roles as needed.
