About The Position
Wings ‘N More is hiring an Assistant Manager for its University location in College Station, Texas. The company serves freshly prepared food and emphasizes quality ingredients, generous portions, and Texas hospitality. It currently operates eight locations in the College Station and Houston areas and plans to expand to more than 30 locations within four years, with additional locations planned in Austin and San Antonio. The Assistant Manager supports daily restaurant operations, develops and coaches team members, and helps deliver high-quality food and guest service. The role includes flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience managing teams in restaurants or retail.
- Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, health regulations, and quality control.
- Dependable, solution-oriented, and guest-focused approach.
- Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Hard-working attitude and enjoyment of a fun workplace.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations, including opening and closing, inspecting deliveries, and enforcing procedures.
- Identify and develop talent to support growth of the management team.
- Supervise, train, and coach crew members by leading by example.
- Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety.
- Handle guest issues with care and work to restore guest satisfaction.
- Help build efficient schedules and balance labor needs.
