About The Position
The Assistant Manager is a multi-faceted role combining business strategy, operations, creativity, and people management. The role drives sales by analyzing the business and providing best-in-class customer service, while overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing routines and efficient store processes. Assistant Managers apply creative expertise through floorset updates, styling recommendations, and product knowledge. They also lead talent efforts, including recruiting, training, engagement, and development. The position is for the University Towne Cent location and is with Hollister, part of Abercrombie & Fitch Co. The starting rate is $26.00 per hour.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities
- Perform opening and closing routines.
- Supervise the sales floor and stockroom to ensure excellent customer service and seamless operations.
- Conduct staffing and scheduling operations and manage payroll.
- Train and develop non-management staff.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness while driving sales.
- Build and maintain visual displays.
- Analyze reporting to inform decision-making.
- Protect store assets and perform inventory control.
- Operate register and point-of-sale systems.
- Fulfill omnichannel orders.
- Represent the brand and exemplify company culture and values.
- Drive sales results by analyzing the business and providing best-in-class customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations and drive efficiency in store processes.
- Lead recruiting, training, engagement, and employee development.
