About The Position

Braum’s Assistant Managers execute the company’s brand strategy and promote its vision, mission, and values to deliver a strong customer experience and maximize sales. They recognize the importance of the team’s contribution to unit goals and help create an environment of trust. The role oversees daily food service, grocery market, and fountain sales operations. The position pays $17.50–$18.00 per hour, with stated annual compensation of $52,000–$57,000 and a bi-weekly bonus program. The schedule is 5:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; workdays vary on a rotating three-week schedule, with an expected 45-hour workweek. The Assistant Manager reports to the Store Manager.

Requirements

• Two years of experience.
• Retail management experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Customer focus and a strong work ethic with a high standard for integrity.
• Positive approach to training, developing, and interacting with all levels of the store team.
• Ability to build a successful team and an environment of trust.
• Ability to adapt to customer and employee needs and store conditions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with leadership team members.
• Ability to identify effective team alignment to enhance performance.

Responsibilities

• Teach, coach, and provide leadership to store crew members.
• Maximize store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality.
• Oversee daily operations of the food service function, grocery market, and fountain sales.
• Participate in monitoring inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety, and cleanliness as needed.
• Share responsibility for ensuring store policies and practices are implemented and followed.
