About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager supports daily store operations and partners with the Store Manager to lead teams, deliver strong execution, and maintain a safe, organized, customer-focused environment. The role includes supporting merchandising, product resets, remodels, and special projects; leading assigned shifts and serving as Manager on Duty when needed; and coaching team members while reinforcing company standards. The position offers an opportunity to develop leadership skills and contribute to store success in a collaborative, people-first culture.

Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Willingness to travel between locations as scheduled and assigned, both in the local pod and the wider region.
Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, squat, reach, and climb a step ladder.
Lift and carry products weighing up to 30 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Safely move carts, fixtures, and merchandising equipment as needed.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of retail, grocery, merchandising, or customer service experience.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities
