About The Position

The Nursing Assistant provides services to assigned residents in accordance with their care plans and facility policies and procedures, and under the direction of supervisors. The position is located in Hermann, Missouri, with hours from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.; weekend work may be needed. The role includes providing compassionate routine daily nursing care and assisting residents with personal care and meals.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must have at least a 10th-grade education; a high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication competencies.
• Background and experience in shared decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide assigned residents with compassionate routine daily nursing care and service.
• Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes to obtain Nursing Assistant certification.
• Assist residents with dental, mouth, bathing, and other care functions as needed.
• Prepare residents for meals and serve food.
• Record residents’ food and fluid intake.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
