About The Position

The Nursing Assistant provides services to assigned residents in accordance with their care plans and facility policies and procedures, under the direction of supervisors. The role includes providing compassionate routine daily nursing care, helping residents with personal care, and assisting with meals and recording food and fluid intake. The position is located in Hermann, Missouri, with hours from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.; weekend work may be needed.

Requirements

• At least a 10th-grade education.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication competencies.
• Background and experience in shared decision-making processes.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assigned residents with compassionate routine daily nursing care and service.
• Attend scheduled training and educational classes to obtain certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• Assist residents with daily dental, mouth, bath, and other care functions as necessary.
• Prepare residents for meals and serve food.
• Record residents’ food and fluid intake.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
