About The Position

Braum’s Assistant Managers execute the company’s brand strategy and promote its vision, mission, and values to deliver a great customer experience and maximize sales. They support the store team by recognizing the importance of its members and strengthening their contributions toward unit goals. The role oversees daily operations across the food service function, grocery market, and fountain sales. The position offers hourly compensation of $17.50–$18.00, with stated annual compensation of $52,000–$58,000, and a bonus program paid bi-weekly. The expected schedule is 45 hours per week, with workdays varying on a rotating three-week schedule. The role reports to the Store Manager.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience.
Retail management experience.
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Customer focus.
Strong work ethic and high standards for integrity.
Positive approach to training, developing, and interacting with all levels of the store team.
Ability to build a successful team by creating an environment of trust.
Ability to adapt to customer and employee needs and changing store conditions.

Responsibilities

Teach, coach, and provide leadership to store crew members.
Maximize store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality.
Oversee the daily operations of the food service function, grocery market, and fountain sales.
Participate in monitoring inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety, and cleanliness as needed.
Share responsibility for ensuring store policies and practices are implemented and followed.
