About The Position

As an Assistant Manager, you are part of the leadership team and help drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement. You provide immediate feedback and coaching to the sales team to maximize performance, and collaborate with the leadership team to adapt strategies for business success and provide operational support.

You support the Store Director and Associate Store Manager in impacting business results, own an assigned division of responsibility, and help ensure effective store operations and customer service. The role may also involve recruiting, training, associate development, community events, product fit sessions, and stepping into different sales-floor roles as needed.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of retail management experience with a similar scope.
• Passion for the brand, customers, and teams.
• Ability to stay current with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy when carrying out tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to champion new ideas while navigating uncertainty.
• Scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products and lift, carry, and move at least 40 pounds (18 kilos).

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director and Associate Store Manager in driving business results and maximizing profitability.
• Own a designated division of responsibility, such as Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, or Service & Selling.
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology while ensuring accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training, and development efforts as needed.
• Partner with store leadership to create a collaborative working environment for associates.
• Keep the team on track to exceed goals and provide best-in-class customer service.
• Lead fit sessions to improve associates’ product knowledge and customer connections.
• Develop innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into a variety of sales-floor roles as needed.
• Provide immediate feedback and coaching to the sales team.
