About The Position
Happy People Pizza, a Domino’s Pizza franchise, is hiring an Assistant Manager with ambition to advance to General Manager. The company provides a paid training program; pizza experience is not required. The role offers opportunities to build management and customer-service experience and to grow within a company with 56 stores across the United States. The position also involves supporting community initiatives, including local charitable fundraising, feeding people in need, and supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have at least one year of management experience. Availability is required either on Saturday and Sunday or every other weekend. Driving-related requirements apply to employees who operate a vehicle for business purposes, including making deliveries.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have at least one year of management experience.
- Must be available either Saturday and Sunday or every other weekend.
- For business driving, an 18-year-old must have at least two years of documented driving history immediately before the motor vehicle record evaluation; a 19-year-old must have at least one year.
- For business driving, no more than two driving-related violations in the preceding two years and no more than three in the preceding three years.
- For business driving, no more than one at-fault accident in the preceding three years.
- For business driving, disqualifying violations include leaving the scene of an accident, hit and run, reckless driving, drug- or alcohol-related driving violations, vehicular homicide or assault, unlawful racing or exhibition driving, and eluding or attempting to elude an officer.
- A learner’s permit period documented by an appropriate governmental authority may count toward driving history; an officially stated license is required.
Responsibilities
- Support store management and customer service operations.
- Participate in community initiatives, including raising funds for local charitable donations, feeding people in need, and supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
- If operating a vehicle for business purposes, meet the stated driving-history and driving-record requirements.
