About The Position

Gills Point S is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to support daily operations at a retail tire and automotive service center. The role partners with the Store Manager to oversee sales, customer service, scheduling, inventory management, team development, and operational performance. The Assistant Manager helps deliver an exceptional customer experience and contribute to business growth by developing employees, building relationships, and driving results.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of automotive, tire, or retail service experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with computers, POS systems, and business applications.
• Ability to establish lasting customer relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Understanding of labor management, productivity metrics, sales performance, and cost control.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work while maintaining high quality standards.
• Ability to build rapport with customers, team members, and vendors.
• Skill in directing and monitoring daily retail operations.
• Results-driven approach and ability to prioritize, delegate, and execute effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to process execution and operational excellence.
• Interest in developing oneself and others.
• Ability to balance customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and business performance.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of a tire and automotive service center.
• Build relationships with customers, team members, and vendors.
• Drive sales growth through customer service and operational excellence.
• Assist with employee scheduling, payroll administration, and workflow management.
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory control.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed.
• Analyze productivity, labor, sales, and operational metrics to support business objectives.
