About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is hiring an Hourly Assistant Manager to help lead a team delivering quality food and customer service. The team serves scratch-baked bread and pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches made with whole ingredients. The role includes leadership duties such as scheduling and inventory management, supporting team development, and helping improve experiences for customers and employees. Afternoon or evening availability is required. Kneaders locations are closed every Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Requirements

At least 1 year of fast-paced restaurant or retail leadership experience.
Afternoon or evening availability.
Attentiveness to local, state, and federal food-handler and sanitation requirements.
Experience meeting operational goals and identifying ways to improve the experience for teams and customers.
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, ingredients, and supplies.
Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift, with limited opportunities to sit.
Must be at least 18 years old.
