About The Position

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is hiring a full- or part-time Hourly Assistant Manager for its Mesa Signal Butte location. The Assistant Manager leads a team serving scratch-baked bread and pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches made with whole ingredients. The role combines restaurant leadership, customer service, team development, and operational responsibilities.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of fast-paced restaurant or retail leadership experience.
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal food-handler and sanitation standards.
• Experience meeting operational goals and looking for ways to improve experiences for teams and customers.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, ingredients, and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic team and provide consistent, exemplary customer service.
• Use leadership techniques including scheduling and inventory management.
• Listen to ideas, concerns, and feedback and collaborate with management teams and customers to make improvements.
• Build and develop the team and guide team members in their careers.
• Help meet operational goals and identify ways to improve experiences for teams and customers.
• Attend to compliance with local, state, and federal food-handler and sanitation regulations.
