About The Position

Dandy is seeking an Assistant Manager to demonstrate leadership for TEAM Members and support the Store Manager in a fast-paced work environment. The role includes helping provide excellent customer service throughout guests’ Dandy experience and communicating with the Store Manager about store operations, staff performance, scheduling, training, and other important functions. The Assistant Manager must be prepared to cover any or all Store Manager responsibilities when the Store Manager is absent.

The position is at 11979 East Corning Road, Corning, NY 14830, with a starting rate of $17.50 per hour and weekly pay. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and complete a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and background check to be considered.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent in education or experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Outlook and internet applications.
• Demonstrated ability to assume managerial responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must complete a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and background check to be considered for employment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend and reach, frequently lift 10–20 pounds, and occasionally lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in the retail industry is preferred.
