About The Position

The Assistant Manager supports the Manager in the business and clinical operations of Childrens Medical Group. The role helps ensure high-quality patient care by coordinating daily operations, including clinical workflows, clinical staff training, and satisfaction of quality measures. The Assistant Manager also maintains departmental supply needs and OSHA compliance.

The position is based in Jackson, Mississippi. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of prior medical supervisory experience in a clinic setting, or graduation certificate from an accredited school of nursing (RN or LPN).
• If a nurse, current Mississippi state licensure is required.
• Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
• Composure in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies.
• Dependability, punctuality, and strong attention to detail.
• Strong multitasking and independent-work capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Accurate documentation skills.
• Ability to consistently follow established workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field.
• Working knowledge of clinical workflows in an outpatient setting to provide superior patient care and assist physicians and providers.
