About The Position

The Assistant Manager supports the Manager in the business and clinical operations of the department. The role helps ensure high-quality patient care by coordinating daily operations, including clinical workflows, clinical staff training, and satisfaction of quality measures. The Assistant Manager also maintains departmental supply needs and OSHA compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of prior medical supervisory experience in a clinic setting, or graduation from an accredited school of nursing as an RN or LPN.
• Current Mississippi state licensure if the candidate is a nurse.
• Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
• Composure in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies.
• Dependability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Strong multitasking and independent-work capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Accurate documentation skills.
• Ability to consistently follow established workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field.
• Working knowledge of clinical workflows in an outpatient setting to provide superior patient care and assist physicians/providers.
