About The Position
The Assistant Manager works hourly or on a salary basis and manages shifts to achieve the highest possible performance while maintaining a respectful, family-like environment for crew members and guests. The role reports to the General Manager and works with them to manage restaurant operations, including budgets, cleanliness, hiring and training, food ordering, and scheduling. The company is a fast-growing Huey Magoo’s franchise operating locations in Mississippi and planning expansion into north Alabama, with promotion opportunities.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- At least 1 year of management experience.
- Leadership skills, including respectful and effective communication and the ability to motivate crew members.
Responsibilities
- Manage shifts to achieve the highest possible performance while maintaining a respectful environment.
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with guests and crew members.
- Motivate crew members and complete the duties required for the role.
- Work with the General Manager to execute P&L budgets, including food cost and labor.
- Maintain the restaurant to expected cleanliness standards.
- Hire, onboard, and train crew members.
- Order food and prepare schedules.
- Perform other duties required to complete the job.
