About The Position

AES Restaurant Group, LLC, a franchisee of Arby’s, is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help guide the team and create a positive guest experience. The Assistant Manager sets the tone for the team when in charge and upholds standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness. The role works with the General Manager to achieve strong restaurant performance across operations, profit and loss, guest satisfaction, customer service, speed of service, quality control, and workplace safety. AES is a goal-oriented company that offers opportunities to develop skills.

Requirements

• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Must be ServSafe certified or capable of obtaining certification.
• Able to work in warm and cold temperatures.
• Able to stand for 8–10 hours.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to climb ladders for general maintenance.
• Able to bend, squat, twist, pull, and reach.
• Demonstrates respectful communication, coaching and developing others, emotional resilience and patience, leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think on their feet.
• Maintains high standards of integrity and customer satisfaction.
• Has P&L management, operations management, restaurant management, and food and labor cost management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the team provides outstanding service and satisfies guests.
• Hire, train, and coach team members.
• Use AES systems to run the restaurant effectively each shift and day.
• Implement restaurant controls, especially for cash and inventory.
• Set and meet restaurant goals for service, operations, and financial results.
• Work with the General Manager to achieve high performance in operations, profit and loss, guest satisfaction, customer service, speed of service, quality control, and workplace safety.
• Use restaurant systems and tools, including the Systems Board and RTI Task Lists.
• Follow government regulations, employment law, food safety requirements, and operations policies; implement accounting controls.
