About The Position

As an Assistant Manager, you will help operate Par Mar Stores on a day-to-day basis and support the Store Manager in ensuring every shift operates smoothly. You will assist with local store marketing to help achieve sales and profit goals, and support team members through performance and training initiatives. The role also involves providing leadership to the store and employees and supporting efficient, effective sales and profit growth.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license and an insured vehicle.
• Prior knowledge of food handling and safety guidelines.
• Ability to traverse all parts of the store quickly.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods on a hard-surfaced floor.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds at a time.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail management experience.
