About The Position

The Pizza Hut Assistant Restaurant General Manager (ARGM) reports to the Restaurant General Manager. The role directs shift leaders, trainers, and team members to improve systems and support smooth restaurant operations. It also develops coaching skills to help guide the store’s culture and daily operations.

The Assistant Manager supports restaurant staffing, training, inventory, forecasting, scheduling, customer service, team development, performance management, and compliance. The role helps ensure the restaurant and its team meet Tasty Hut, LLC and Pizza Hut standards, maintain a safe and clean workplace, and deliver a positive customer and employee experience.

Requirements

• ServSafe certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate and give feedback in a positive manner.
• Completion of MSM Courses 7–9.
• National Sex Offender Registry check.
• Motor Vehicle Record check.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant General Manager with hiring and training, and build a bench of key-holding managers and team members.
• Promote a positive restaurant culture and employee experience.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards and follow Pizza Hut service principles: deliver quickly, make food the restaurant is proud to serve, and provide service with a smile.
• Assist with oversight and execution of store inventory, forecasting, and scheduling processes.
• Ensure team members have the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed.
• Develop a store team that achieves high customer satisfaction results.
• Ensure the restaurant meets or exceeds Tasty Hut, LLC and Pizza Hut standards and processes, including food, restaurant, and driver safety; CHAMPS; brand standards; FSSC; and CORE.
• Assist with career development and performance management for the restaurant team, including MSM.
• Use Pizza Hut-provided tools, including Hutlink, Learning Zone, and Pizzapedia.
• Execute Pizza Hut-provided training materials and courses and follow up with team members on execution.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Ensure a safe work environment and maintain a clean, organized restaurant that meets health and safety regulations.
• Serve as a steward of the Pizza Hut brand.
• Assist the Restaurant General Manager with the restaurant calendar.
• Communicate and execute company initiatives by managing restaurant team performance.
• Manage and adhere to the employee handbook and company policies.
• Maintain a professional image and ethical conduct as a representative of Tasty Hut, LLC.
• Exhibit Tasty Hut, LLC core values and work to fulfill its mission and vision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
