About The Position

Citi Trends is hiring a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to help operate a store in the value-priced urban apparel industry. After successful completion of a two-week training period, the Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager with overall store operations. When the Store Manager is unavailable, the Assistant Store Manager leads the store and works to ensure goals are met.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Two to four years of retail experience as an Assistant Manager.
• Three to five years of retail experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and employee supervision.
• Maintain inventory controls, facilitate inventory transactions, and ensure compliance with shrink-control standards.
• Monitor sales activities to ensure customers receive satisfactory service.
• Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, cash receipt reconciliation, or customer services.
• Ensure staff adherence to Citi Trends policies and procedures.
• Lead the store and ensure goals are met when the Store Manager is unavailable.
