About The Position

Dandy is seeking an Assistant Manager to demonstrate leadership for TEAM Members and support the Store Manager in a fast-paced work environment. The role helps provide excellent customer service throughout the guest experience, communicates with the Store Manager about store operations and staff-related functions, and is prepared to cover Store Manager responsibilities when the Store Manager is absent. This is a full-time evening position at the D-19 location, 78 White Wagon Road, Sayre, PA 18840 (Wilawana). Starting rate is $16.50, with weekly pay.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent in education or experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Outlook and internet applications.
• Demonstrated ability to assume managerial responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Complete a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and background check to be considered for employment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods; bend and reach; frequently lift 10–20 pounds; and occasionally lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in the retail industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership and positivity for the TEAM.
• Help provide excellent customer service to guests in all areas of their Dandy experience.
• Communicate with the Store Manager regarding store operations, staff performance, scheduling, training, and other important functions.
• Be prepared to cover any or all Store Manager responsibilities when the Store Manager is absent.
