About The Position

As an Assistant Manager, you will help operate Par Mar Stores on a day-to-day basis and support the Store Manager in ensuring every shift operates smoothly. You will also assist with local store marketing to help reach sales and profit goals, while supporting team members through performance and training initiatives. The role provides leadership to the store and its employees and supports efficient, effective sales and profit growth.

Requirements

Valid state driver’s license and an insured vehicle.
Prior knowledge of food handling and safety guidelines.
Ability to traverse all parts of the store quickly.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods on a hard-surfaced floor.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds at a time.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of retail experience is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous retail management experience preferred.
