About The Position

The Visionworks Optical Supervisor/Assistant Manager is a leader who models the Visionworks way and supervises the store when the General Manager is absent. The role supports the General Manager in achieving store financial goals through floor leadership, accountability, and coaching and developing associates to deliver a simple, human, and bold patient and customer journey. The position promotes store profitability and sales goals, supports patient and customer needs, and executes operational activities that contribute to financial and customer experience goals.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
1–5 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Promote store profitability and achievement of sales goals by holding self and the team accountable for daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Role model and participate in all steps of the patient/customer journey, and supervise and redirect associates in the exam lane and on the sales floor.
Support the General Manager in managing incoming traffic by coordinating and confirming doctor appointments and scheduled eyewear services, and ensuring patient and customer needs are met.
Coach, motivate, and support associates in performing their roles to ensure a flawless patient/customer experience.
Use sound judgment to remove obstacles and resolve patient/customer experience issues in partnership with the General Manager.
Execute broad operational activities to meet the store's financial and customer experience goals.
Supervise the store in the General Manager's absence.
