About The Position

Jersey Mike's Subs is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its team. The role supports store operations, including motivating and coaching team members, delivering exceptional customer experiences, handling opening and closing tasks, scheduling, food safety, inventory, and employee training. The Assistant Manager fills in for the Manager in all capacities when needed. The position pays $19–$20 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of restaurant management experience; more than 1 year is preferred.
• ServeSafe certification is required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of operational checklists.
• Ability to maintain a reliable schedule.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Excellent menu and product knowledge.
• Ability to manage and maintain inventory records using online management systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests.
