About The Position

The Assistant Manager assists the Store Manager in leading a customer-focused, sales-driven, profitable, and productive store. The role helps motivate the team, deliver an authentic customer experience, execute store KPIs, and ensure employees follow company policies and procedures. It is a part-time position requiring availability for 20–40 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.

Ability to work 20–40 hours per week and a flexible schedule that includes weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 35 pounds.
Ability to frequently sit or stand for long periods and climb ladders as needed.
Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure team members deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
Handle customer situations in accordance with policies and procedures, seek solutions, and escalate issues when appropriate.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store and stockroom.
Share customer feedback with the leadership team to improve the customer experience.
Act as floor supervisor as needed, including covering breaks and other non-peak periods.
Hold self and others accountable for completing operational tasks.
Coach associates and provide performance feedback; recognize and reward strong performance.
Direct associates on company standards and priorities, and delegate tasks to meet operational needs.
Execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards.
Improve efficiency in store operations and maintain merchandise flow, replenishment, and presentation standards.
Ensure associates follow company policies, procedures, and safety practices.
Represent the PacSun brand and demonstrate passion for its products, brands, fashion, and trends.
Recruit, identify, develop, and retain talent; build cross-functional partnerships and promote collaboration and accountability.
Lead by example in conduct, integrity, confidentiality, company culture, and approachability.
