About The Position

The Sales Associate generates sales by demonstrating enthusiasm for products, brands, fashion, and trends, while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The role supports store initiatives and tasks assigned by the leadership team and contributes positively as a member of the store team. This is a seasonal, part-time position requiring availability for 20–40 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.

Requirements

Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent time-management skills.
Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
Ability to work 20–40 hours per week with schedule flexibility, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
Frequently lift or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 35 pounds.
Frequently sit or stand for long periods and climb ladders as needed.
Ability to talk and hear regularly; sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach, twist, or squat.
Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
Close and distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.

Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
Focus on full-price selling while remaining aware of product value and promotions.
Handle customer situations according to company policy, seek solutions, and partner with leadership on escalated issues.
Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards.
Maintain organization and cleanliness to support a safe working and shopping environment.
Comply with company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, employee guidelines, safety requirements, and Loss Prevention policies; report violations to leadership or the Silent Witness Hotline.
Share customer feedback with leadership to improve the customer experience.
Participate in company and store contests and events, stay current on financial goals, and support sales and operational goals.
Support digital sales strategies, including ship from store and BOPIS.
Represent the PacSun brand through passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends; demonstrate core values and adhere to Employee Appearance Guidelines.
