About The Position

As an Assistant Manager, you are part of the leadership team and help drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement. You provide immediate feedback and coaching to the sales team to maximize performance, and collaborate with the leadership team to adapt business strategies and provide smooth operational support.

You support the Store Director and Associate Store Manager in affecting business results, own a designated division of responsibility, and manage store operations, systems, and technology. You also help ensure strong customer service, develop associates’ product knowledge, and find ways to engage the community and build loyalty.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of retail management experience with a similar scope.
• Passion for supporting the brand, customers, and teams.
• Stay current with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy when performing tasks.
• Show innovation, champion new ideas, and demonstrate problem-solving skills when navigating uncertainty.
• Scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products and lift, carry, and move at least 40 pounds (18 kilos).

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director and Associate Store Manager in driving business results and maximizing profitability.
• Own a designated division of responsibility, such as Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, or Service & Selling.
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology while ensuring accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training, and development efforts as needed.
• Partner with the Store Director and Associate Store Manager to create a collaborative working environment.
• Keep the team on track to exceed goals and provide best-in-class customer service.
• Lead fit sessions to improve associates’ product knowledge and customer connections.
• Develop innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into a variety of sales-floor roles as needed.
• Provide immediate feedback and coaching to maximize sales-team performance.
