About The Position

StorageMart is hiring an Assistant Manager to support its self-storage store operations in San Antonio, Texas. The position works with the Store Manager to support business growth and maximize sales, serve customers through phone, face-to-face, and email interactions, and help maintain a clean, safe, and secure facility. The role includes opening, operating, and closing the office; light property maintenance and cleaning; assisting with customer accounts, account setup, debt management, and general administrative tasks; and occasionally traveling between stores to support other locations. Training is provided for the right candidate. The stated pay is $15.00 per hour. StorageMart describes itself as a family-owned business with locations across the U.K., Canada, and the United States.

Requirements

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors and maintain the grounds.
• Valid driver's license, valid insurance, and access to a vehicle.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to support business growth and maximize sales.
• Provide customer service by phone, face-to-face, and email, addressing customer needs.
• Open, operate, and close the office.

• Handle customer accounts, assist with account setup, and perform general administrative tasks, including debt management.
• Occasionally travel between stores to support other locations and maintain consistent standards.
