About The Position

Dandy is seeking an Assistant Manager for its convenience store at 2 Owego Rd, Candor, NY 13743. The Assistant Manager provides leadership and positivity for TEAM Members, supports the Store Manager, and helps deliver excellent customer service throughout guests’ Dandy experience. The role communicates with the Store Manager about store operations, staff performance, scheduling, training, and other important functions, and is prepared to cover any or all Store Manager responsibilities during the Store Manager’s absence. The starting rate is $17.50, with weekly pay.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent in education or experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Outlook and internet applications.
• Demonstrated ability to assume managerial responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must complete a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and background check to be considered for employment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, frequently lift 10–20 pounds, and occasionally lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in the retail industry is preferred.
