About The Position

Palm Beach Tan is hiring an Assistant Manager to support store operations, staff development, sales performance, and customer service. The role includes a required five-week manager-training course with performance metrics. Compensation starts at $18 per hour, with commission and bonus opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to effectively motivate others.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, and develop store employees.
• Create a positive and respectful environment for employees and customers.
• Meet individual performance metrics and help employees meet theirs.
• Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales.
• Meet banking, safety, operational, and legal requirements.
• Control labor, inventory, and maintenance expenses.
• Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep the store clean, stocked, and organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
