About The Position

Restaurant Assistant Managers help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of Love’s restaurants. They assist in leading staff, managing processes, and carrying out strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction. The role combines restaurant operations, team support, customer service, and attention to food safety and facility upkeep.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of restaurant management experience.
• At least 1 year managing operations with annual sales volume of $1 million or more.
• At least 1 year affecting and deciphering budgets and profit and loss statements.
• At least 1 year supervising and training 5–10 or more employees.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
• Effective teamwork skills.
• Ability to work days, afternoons, evenings, nights, occasional overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including frequent lifting or moving of items over 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through facilities and equipment maintenance and adherence to proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager with task execution and completion, scheduling, cash integrity, and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Work with the team to prepare and package customer orders in a timely manner to meet customer service expectations.
• Understand financial reporting, including analyzing profit and loss statements, and act on opportunities to improve results.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on talent acquisition.
• Support customer satisfaction through effective restaurant operations and employee-vehicle deployment.
