About The Position

The Assistant Manager of Fine Dining oversees the restaurant’s daily operations to support seamless service and a high-quality guest dining experience. The role includes managing staff, coordinating service, and upholding restaurant standards while fostering a welcoming atmosphere. The Assistant Manager works with the management team to implement policies, train employees, and address guest concerns.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, Friday through Tuesday, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create daily floor plans for each shift to ensure proper rotation and coverage of stations.
• Supervise floor service in dining rooms during operating hours.
• Conduct employee evaluations and manage issues related to attendance records.
• Maintain communication with the Chef regarding food service and menu issues.
• Coordinate with management, chefs, and culinary staff to address needs or issues raised by guests and employees.
• Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing, and prepare purchase requisitions for outlets receiving items from the warehouse or support departments.
• Keep inventory forms and stocking areas up to date.
• Inspect food from support departments for freshness and quality.
• Communicate directly with guests about special requests and large-party reservations.
