About The Position
Drybar is seeking a hands-on Assistant Manager / Lead Stylist who enjoys providing blowouts and styling services while taking on leadership responsibilities. The role combines working behind the chair with coaching stylists, supporting shop operations, delivering excellent guest experiences, and contributing to shop success. Drybar focuses exclusively on blowouts, without cuts or color services. The position offers paid Drybar training and ongoing education, leadership bonus opportunities, complimentary blowouts, product discounts, and opportunities for career advancement as Drybar grows throughout Central Florida. The shop is independently owned and operated by a franchise owner, who is responsible for employment decisions.
Requirements
- Active Florida cosmetology license.
- Strong blowout and hairstyling skills.
- Previous leadership experience, or demonstrated leadership potential.
- Positive, dependable, team-first attitude.
- Passion for mentoring others and delivering exceptional guest service.
- Flexibility to work Wednesday through Sunday and other high-demand shifts.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example by providing blowouts and styling services.
- Coach and inspire stylists to develop their skills and confidence.
- Support daily operations to keep the shop running smoothly and efficiently.
