About The Position

The Wren Apartments is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Tech HVAC to maintain and upkeep the building and grounds through routine procedures and special work orders. The role involves completing maintenance requests, preparing apartments for occupancy, handling basic HVAC and plumbing repairs, maintaining pool equipment, and supporting general property upkeep. The position also responds to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation. It is suited to someone dependable and proactive who can manage a variety of maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbing.
• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC (EPA) certification preferred.
• Pool certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation.
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units.
• Identify and fix plumbing issues, such as leaks and minor pipe repairs.
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation.
