About The Position

The Wren Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Tech to maintain and upkeep the building and grounds through routine procedures and special work orders. The role involves completing maintenance work orders, preparing apartments for occupancy, repairing basic HVAC and plumbing issues, maintaining pool equipment, and performing general and preventative property maintenance. The employee will also respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation. The position is suited to someone dependable and proactive who can handle a variety of maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbing.
• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC (EPA) certification preferred.
• Pool certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation.
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units.
• Identify and fix plumbing issues, including leaks and minor pipe repairs.
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation.
