About The Position

The successful candidate is a versatile individual who keeps abreast of the latest office automation software to process various specialized documents in the legal and administrative fields.

Requirements

  • Diploma in office automation or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of the functioning of a translation department within a law firm
  • Bilingual written and spoken (French and English) given the clientele, mandates, and international scope of the firm
  • Advanced knowledge of office automation software, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent client service
  • Organizational and priority management skills
  • Attention to detail, autonomy and team spirit
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Office Certification, an asset

Responsibilities

  • Create and modify documents through word processing, scanning and other methods
  • Ensure the complete satisfaction of the internal clients, mainly translators and revisors
  • Modify documents: changes to formatting, styles and indexing
  • Participate in translation projects by pre-processing certain documents
  • Ensure quality control of documents before delivery to the client
  • Occasionally replace the other Linguistic Services Assistants with respect to file management and invoicing of external suppliers
